DESCRIPTION
In 2015, a modern indoor arena complex was designed and built at the historic Surenburg estate, laying the foundation for what is now one of Germany’s most prominent equestrian centers. Initiated by Ludger Beerbaum, the project was created to meet the highest standards of international sport and year-round training.
World-Class Indoor Equestrian Arena with VIP Lounge and Retail Experience
The facility features a main competition indoor arena with a 40 x 80 m footing for large-scale events, as well as a smaller warm-up arena. Both halls are connected via a covered walkway to ensure maximum comfort and usability during the colder months. The building also houses an equestrian retail store and a fully glazed VIP lounge on the upper floor of the main arena, offering catering and an exceptional view of the competitions.
Where Grassroots Equestrian Meets World-Class Competition
Today, Riesenbeck International hosts numerous national and international events in show jumping, dressage, and driving. The facility also remains home to the local riding club, creating a unique synergy between grassroots equestrian development and top-level sport.
